Sorry.  The computer has been fixed, but things just have not been going well for me at all, and won't be for a little while longer  Just been checking in and out of Hotel Hell for the past couple weeks, it's just not been good, and that's all I'm going to get into that.

Don't know the next time I'll be on, so I'll get my NASCAR stuff out of the way now before I leave and check back in again.

2nd after Loudon
4th after Dover (but closer to the leader)
2nd after Kansas

I must say, the rookie isn't doing too damn bad so far.

Loudon: Good run, ran in the top 10 most of the day, had a late charge on that last caution and finished 4th, and moved into 2nd in points behind Harvick.

Dover: Not as good as a run, but hey, you'll take a top 10 any way you can get them.  Cuz on the scoresheet, it only shows up where you ran the last lap, not the other 400 previous ones.  He turned a bad day into a good day, yeah, maybe he got a little bit lucky, but hey, sometimes it takes a little bit of luck to win one of these things.  Left Dover 4th in points, only 18 behind Burton (who won for the first time in like 5 million years, lol)

Kansas: Was having a good run early, worked up from 25th quailfying spot to the top 10, car was running good... then things started going downhill.  Got caught speeding then spun out then had a loose wheel and finished 18th.  That race, I might add, had probably one of the most wackiest finishes I've seen in a long time.  I honestly don't know if it's good or bad that you can run out of gas coming off of turn 2 on the last lap, and still coast around to the win.  I mean, yeah, it's good if you're Tony Stewart... but normally, that does not happen.

Talladega next week with the new surface, we'll see if that causes any problems, and hopefully Talladega treats Denny well this time around.

This isn't gonna be very long.  My computer isn't working right now, and I probably won't be on again till it's fixed, who knows when that'll be.  Had a big storm the other day, I think that screwed it up pretty big cuz it's not been working since.

But to the NASCAR part before I go:

The Chase is on!!!  Qualifying yesterday, Denny got 5th!  And that Prankster Harvick tried to kill him!!!  I mean, did u see the force behind that pie?  If I was Denny I woulda gotten him back after he won the pole, except maybe with a cheese pie or something... I don't know, something else.  But he said that they're not even, they never will be even, so Harvick... watch out!

Well... I guess I'll talk to ya again when my computer's fixed.  GOOD LUCK DENNY!!

HE MADE THE CHASE!!!!!!!!!

Whew! (HUGE sigh of relief) Right now, I feel 1000% better, but damn!!! That race just KILLED me last night, there's no other way to describe it. Them last 100+ laps or so were just a killer. When I first heard about the motor sputtering, i just thought back to Indy and Phoenix. Indy he still did well, it just did it on the restarts, Phoenix was bad, so I was just hoping it went like it did in Indy... that didn't happen. ANd the caution never came back out for them to switch out the spark plugs, running on 7 cylinders for the rest of the race, of course that's gonna make me uneasy... but at least he made it the whole race... finishing 15th on 7 cylinders isn't that bad, really, and the better news is he moved up 2 spots to 5th, so now with the points being reset, he's only 20 points out of the lead and with as a good of a shot as anybody else, all they need to do is to make sure these spark plug issues (or whatever it was) quit happening, cuz he can NOT have that happening to him in the chase. New Hampshire is a good track for him, so that's a good place to get it all started.

1. Matt Kenseth
2. Jimmie Johnson
3. Kevin Harvick
4. Kyle Busch
5. Denny Hamlin
6. Dale Earnhardt Jr
7. Mark Martin
8. Jeff Burton
9. Jeff Gordon
10. Kasey Kahne

11. Tony Stewart-Did not qualify for the chase.... I don't know about you, but I was not really expecting that one. Yeah, I know he wrecked in practice and had to go to a backup and that he qualifyed bad, but still! Between him, Martin and Burton, he was the least likely one on my list to drop out, but he's out (What was it? by 16-18 points or so?)

So, what? We have 7 chevys, 2 fords and 1 dodge? (Pretty outnumbered, lol) 3 hendrick cars, 2 childress cars, 2 roush cars, an evernham car, a DEI car, and MY gibbs car. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that Kenseth, Johnson and Martin are the only ones up there who've made it all three years. Wow.

Oh, by the way, Kevin Harvick won the race, lol . Passed the shrub with like 2 to go and won, and he's on a roll, him and Busch both... I think them two and Kasey Kahne right now probably have the best momentum going into the chase right now, but like we saw at Richmond, anything can happen, so now it'll be interesting to see how the Chase plays out.

GOOD LUCK DENNY!!!!! There ain't no rule out there saying that just cuz you're a rookie, you can't win the championship. You got as good a shot as anybody, so GO GET THAT CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!!!!

HE'S ON THE POLE!!!!!!

16th or better... starting from the pole... doesn't get much better then that.

Let me think... this would be his third bud pole of the year, right? The other two were at Pocono... and Pocono.......

But why am I still feeling uneasy? Damn it, I know he's on the pole, and I know he does well at Richmond, but I just keep worrying about all the things that are not of his control that can happen... I just don't want any of that to happen to him now, this close to the chase... I know, I'm probably wasting my time worrying like this... 16th or better... that's all I need to think about (though I want the win infront of his hometown crowd!!!) Just tell me it's all in my head, he'll be fine, don't worry, i'm just doing all this worrying for nothing... it'll all be good in the end......

GOOD LUCK TONIGHT, DENNY!!!! I'LL BE ROOTING FOR YA!!!

Well... I have seen the "official math" of scenerio's (and I think I just completely butchered up that word).

16th or better, and Denny's in, no matter what anyone else does.

16th or better at Richmond? That shouldn't be too hard to do........
